Why will my sub hit with my radio but with cd/dvd??

Even though you say the amp is turning on with the CD, make sure you have the remote wire hooked up to blue/white (if present) and not blue.

I don't have any experience with Jensen, but my Pioneer has a "level" adjustment used to raise or lower the volume of the CD player so that you can match the volume of the radio. If your's has an adjustment like that, it may need to be raised. But like I said... No Jensen expirience...

I think that the preouts are bad on cd/dvd play.

Good thing i didnt buy it...

Yeah, sounds like its hooked up to the power antenna wire and not the remote.

no i hookeup the remote wire guys i am not a total tard LOL, but i got it figured out like i mentioned before i found the answer in the dvd setup menu that i need a new batt for the remote to access so problem solved thanks guys for your help
