thats one small part of the argument.
I tried to break it down into manageable parts but i don't think it was enough.

The unique conditions of poverty cause the poor to develop a unique subculture as a way to cope/adapt.

This subculture is passed on generation to generation.

Even when offered opportunity for advancement the poor are unable to take advantage because they have been socialized into the culture of poverty.

Thus, the only solution to poverty is the killing of the poor.

Right, it's basically a thug/welfare culture. As much as you joke around with your other threads I think you're right with this one.

Hurricane Katrina was a perfect example. Most of the people who ended up homeless were already poor. They were given a ton of aid and squandered it away because they didn't care and/or didn't know any better. FEMA cards that were supposed to be used for food and necessities were used on booze, cigarettes, and hookers (probably drugs too).

But what happens when the poor get killed off? You can't just not have a lower class.

for every hardworking illegal who sneaks in to work for $14 a day, we should ship back one of our poor.

That way we will ensure that Mexico continually stays poor, and that the most motivated and industrious of them are desperate enough to continue to come here and work for nothing.

Therefore we could send our poor to mexico, if you are opposed to killing them. we will have a continuous influx of hard working, cream of the crop, Mexicans who will fill the economic role of the lower class ubtil they become upwardly mobile contributing members of society. Then the cycle restarts.

Read the last paragraph of the modest proposal. I myself had to write one for english class as an assignment this year.

I've given up on your threads... I actually enjoyed your previous threads because your threads stimulate fairly interesting conversations. However, you're to stubborn and narrow minded about the topics you start. poverty is simply survival of the fittest applied to the civilized world

those who flourish are the fit, and therefore should be allowed to procreate

while those who fail and are below average income are obviously the weaker of the two and should be subject to the theory of eugenics
