I was wondering if any body heard of apple offering CarPlay car keys for cars

I recommend just do it.
Dodge 1500 RAM 2025 for example is one auto maker offering it. You can unlock your car from your iPhone or swatch. Wow. They listed about 800 automakers brands. A hand full of them already offer the feature. BMW is another brand that offers car keys. Same installment or out of reach now, if this would make things harder for installers?

On the head units, the CarPlay has their own system software. Factory make radios. A list of after market manufactures like pioneer and alpine have already began mimicking these factory made radios so it can be replaced or with added or different features. What’s new coming out in CarPlay since 2015 about.

If you have specific questions about car audio features, head units, or CarPlay advancements, feel free to ask!

Okay. Well nothing specific still in general but good. On a Nissan versa note 2016, they have no car keys car Play to the car. Is there a way to add CarPlay car keys just by buying the radio head unit that does allow car keys to the car? If yes, are the procedures the same as was before? Or will there be other gadgets or modules needed added on? Such as a door gadget or module mounted to the door. I am not sure if this technology is available yet to the public. And a ford Truck Ranger 2019. The technology would be for those two cars. Ford does not yet offer that technology. And thanks!

One more question: on the PAC module universal module, TR7. This is a switching device. I figured yes. So I’ll add the PAC module. How and where on the car do I add this. With other PAC modules of course. And I figured too if I add a single pole double throw switch this would do it. I think maybe add one motor to it. Like if you were to add a motor to a side door panel on a Chevy Tahoo, this would pull on the lever to open the door. PAC TR7!is the device to do this. Though I’ve yet to try this out.

And thanks. I’m only inquiring because I know the material. Really. Like that bench test I made is easy. The ground negative is connected to the chassis of the radio and the battery. The inputs are the hot wires going in. Higher voltage, then add a second battery to the setup. Fiddle around with it a bit or capacitor or two, the music is heard. I know about Al Bots degree. Technician and a engineer.

Al Bots is for customer service? I don’t know. But moderator ? I think computers then, that. Yeah, I slim Jimmed a car before. Not everyone knows all the answers. “radio installations is almost always the same for cars. Now I’m not responsible for any damages. Just today I burned out this light bulbs…” some one else’s words. Sorry, some of you here are in the field as technicians working already. I’m just a computer guy. Learning electronics since high school years. Many moons ago.
