You mean the place that we have good relations with and sell our old, crappy military missiles to? You mean the place where they don't even have enough guns to equip each person in their military? Or the place where their aresnal of weapons is decades old compared to what we use today?

That place?

And oh, I quite smoking a long time ago. You should probably pick it up so you can rationalize your train of thought to something comprehendable, because now you just sound oh-so intelligent.
You don't have to have many guns if you have nuclear power...

Two things I know about you from your posts:
You definately grew up in the south

You definately are good at believing things blindly

Don't even get me started with your answer to A. If you call a half-informed report from ONE guy who openly says he wasn't sure about it, and informed report enough to INVADE A COUNTRY AND KILL THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE, then you sir, are ignorant, and there is no point in arguing with me because we will never see eye to eye. Formulate some response, and I might get back to you in a few days if I feel like it.

......
Well, as I figured, you don't seem to know much. Born in CA, raised in CT. So there goes your first theory there Einstein.

Second theory, in a word, no. I actually don't agree with how we are conducting the war, but there's nothing we can do about it right now. That's what the pot smoking hippies like you don't get. We leave now, Iraq becomes a haven for terrorists. If it were up to me, I would start a slow drawdown. The problem, I believe, is the Iraqi people are not taking the security of their own country seriously. If they knew we weren't going to be there forever, maybe they would start doing what needs to be done.

Also, I'm tired of the "politically correct" war. Anyone else see the problem with this?? When we go after a target, we should not have to worry about "collateral damage". As long as the mission is accomplished. If we just showed 1/2 of the total disregard for human life that the terrorists do, they would run. Because we have bigger toys to hurt them with. The problem is, just like in Vietnam, the whiny *****es in congress are trying to run the war. Let the Generals do it.

As for your report from ONE GUY??? What issue of high times did you read that in there homie?? The intelligence was gathered from several countries in the EU, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UK, and from our own sources. So please, before you speak, know what it is that you are speaking of. Especially since your posts have proven to me that you are a no-nothing moron. KTHXDIE

We had good relations with Saddam Hussein in the '80's. What now there jerky??

China has ICBM's that CAN HIT US.

You don't need enough guns to equip your Army when it is made up of millions of people. And yes, they do have enough weapons, by the way.

Yeah, their old Aegis Equipped Destryers.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif Or the 90 Nuclear subs they just started putting into commision. Or how about all the nice new fighters they buy from Russia?? Ever hear of a Sukhoi SU-37?? More advanced fighter than anything we currently have operational.

So again, before you open your c**k holster, you really should learn about what it is you're going to rant about.

Yea, the SU37 Flanker can out maneuver and out gun the F22 or the F35 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Umm, I said operational there buddy. The F35 is far from that, and the 22 is still stuck at Langley. And by the way, the Mig 29 can also outmaneuver the 22. The 22 has only semi-vectoring engines, while the 29 has fully vectoring. Only thing the 22 has is supercruise. And yes, the SU-37 will fly circles around the F22 or F35, that is, if the F35 is thrown into full production. Considering the congress is controlled by Democrats, I see budget cuts for the military on the horizon.

You do know the F22 has flown missions in Iraq, right? And the Mig29 Fulcrum is an aging POS. Its radar, weapons, nor targeting system can even touch that of the 22...

I think that we were selectively fed intelligence that supported an already established outcome, going to war. However that doesn't really matter, we are there now.

Personally i think we need to drop the nation building 'lets force democracy with the barrel of a gun' bullshit. Democracy isn't something you force upon others, its something they have to struggle on their own to achieve.

I think what we need to do is choose the next brutal dictator, favorable to the US of course, and let him get to work cracking the whip and getting that place under control.

We will never be able to turn Iraq into a functional pro-west democracy. Even if we could, it wouldnt be worth the cost. At this point, the best we can hope for is another ruthless leader, like Saddam, who will do what needs to be done to get the place under control so we can bring our troops home without the place turning into a haven for terrorists.

Say what you want about Saddam but he kept the place under control, something we haven't been able to do.

Yeah, it's flown missions. But is still not considered fully operational. The Mig 29 is no where near a POS. No more so than the F15. It's much more maneuverable, and within 10 miles it will kill the 22. But anyways, no one is gonna listen.

My point was that the other jerky seems to think that there is no other country that can compare to us technologically or militarily. I proved him wrong. Then he stated that the fact that we have "good relations" with China will keep them from attacking. All I stated was that we once had good relations with Saddam too. Oh, and the Taliban now that I think about it. Funny how that happens. So by his logic we should have never gone to war with either because at one point in time we had "good relations".//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

The B2 isnt even considered fully operational since its too valuable to risk in combat yet its still flown a number of missions. Last time I checked, the F15 was undefeated in air to air combat unlike its Mig29 and SU37 brethren. And w/i 10 miles? Modern air combat is much, much more distant. But your right, no one is going to listen. I've had some SIM time and loved the F15.

There are other militaries out there that can challenge us but none that I think can defeat us as long as we fight without the Washington bullshit. If they are allowed to fight the way they were trained and the way they should, were still the best.

I've had about 30 hours in a C130 sim. That big ***** is fun! Full motion! And another 20 in the A10, no full motion:crap: . How many times has the F15 actually been challenged in Air to Air combat?? Not many, however, the Mig 29 has been used by many countries in many different conflicts, so yeah, it kinda had a better chance of getting shot down.

And we will NEVER have a war without the Washington interference. This is the reason why we need to be weary of countries such as China, and Russia, and Israel. I know, they're our friends now, but they could put a serious whoopin on us if they felt the need. The problem is we try to be "ethical" in our war fighting, whereas our enemies, more often than not, couldn't care less about ethics, they're more concerned with victory.

Personally if i had been out of school when 9/11 went down I would have signed up to serve and I still will if anything else happens. Not for a president or a political party but for the country and for my own personal feelings /rant

which doesnt mean that everyone who doesnt want to serve is wrong. i say to each his own. and hopefully there are enough people like myself who would volunteer so the draft wouldnt even be neccesary

Are you military? How did you get your sim time? If our military for one month fought with the brutality the insurgents fought with, I don't think they'd screw with us much afterward. I think were being too soft on 'em. Give 'em hell...
