Another thing to keep in mind is that Adire is an OEM manufacturer, they don't focus all of their efforts on car audio. They aren't some fly-by-night business, they do many other things that will help keep them around for a long time.

OK, I'm convinced. I'm getting two shivas. Now Supa C gave me some advice, and I'd like everyone else's opinion/seal of approval.

3. I need a box. I want one that's already made. I'm not positive on size. I hear sizes ranging from 1.3 to 1.5 ft. squared per sub. Where is a good, inexpensive place to buy a box from?

4. I plan on having "Custom Sounds" (local shop) intall this (I'll get quotes from others first, but this place looks promising): http://www.customsounds.com/home.html How should I have them wire the subs? I am not 100% sure on what way they work best with the MA amp. Is 2 ohms the right amount? What should I tell the installers?

I hope I can trust these knuckle-heads with a manual-transmission car. Nobody knows how to drive one these days. But I'd guess these guys are a little smarter than your average BB/CC installer.

Anything I left out, you can fill in. Thanks for all the help. You guys are great.

Are mono amps OK? Every other amp seems to be stereo. But from what I understand bass is mono anyway, right? How's this place: http://www.thezeb.com/detail.aspx?ID=2546 The untrusting guy I am, e-bay makes me think twice or maybe three times. Plus, I don't think dad would let me use his credit card anyway.

And are "Smullen" and "Radar" people on this forum?
