not my fault I've tested nearly ever woofer out from the last 6 years..

some wang, some ****...

what you run is your choice...

I wouldn't run an SPL / PA woofer if they pulled a 53'er in the drive way full of em and said merry xmas...

we've already been down this road before, on another thread.. I've stated test results on your subs, and the mofos...

and your subtle insinuations that I haven't did everything I've stated, is cute too..

I guess I just got lucky all those times at finals...

since nick hasn't seen your last post... we're currently running a Goliath in our Extreme Blazer, on 2 SX 12's... and sometimes an MT 18...

and occaisonally we throw a 20.1 in there, or my mm4000.1

but we've never tested anything..

hence forth, i have yet to see anything. im not saying you didnt, but jesus. dont tell somone you dont like somthing, then never explain why - and in technical terms like you always do.

just kinda sucks that you are putting a competitor down because of what he can afford to run. he likes them, they give him good numbers. they were in his price range. so this is his oppinion of them. why is that so bad?

I'm trying to get him away from those subs... which is limiting his rather good SPL performance so far...

to save you time, here it is again...

 

lets see.. SPLW 12" model..

 

big, ugly, and and a brick..

 

suffered from a rather bad case of flux modulation (go look that one up)

 

tested in 1.5, 2.5, 4, and 5 cuft ported, tuning from 35-55hz

 

power on tap was at first 1kw, then cause the numbers were so bad, 2.5 kw, and the numbers were still bad...

 

testing was done in a geo metro if I recall correctly... Linear X was used for measurements..

 

long story short... every other woofer owned it.. except the mofo

 

even a piddly comp vr 12 we had lying around, whooped on it, and it was an older one too, back when creedence was still makin them....

 

then we got evil and laid 6kw on it, and the rest of it is boat anchor history..
