the comp vr is designed correctly... for one..thanks for the link, thanks for the info. i didnt mean to be rude in any way. it just seemd to me that you were puting him down as a competitor because of the equipment he could afford, and subsequently, was using.
now, if you could explain in what way, the other speakers (the cvr for example) were "better" than the speakers he is using, that would be quite helpful. because in his application, they are in an SPL application, most likely, with daily driving capabilities.
instead of posting all kinds of slander toward his equipment, claiming they are terrible and such and such, maybe explain why, and what he should look into (that fits his price bracket and performance issues).
those PA / SPL drivers, have coils made of cheaper grade wire, they do not have an FEA typed suspension, and on that note, its very asymetrical in throw. the motor suffers from horrible flux modulation, and has alot of stray flux. This is most likely due to the lacking amount, and lower grade quality steel which is used in the motor assembly.
then we can go onto the extremely heavy moving assembly, which kills efficiency, and when coupled to a poor motor, and suspension design... you end up with lackluster performance...
basically its what happens when you spend zero on R&A
