Why is this guy voltage not droping???

Ok they have this guy i just met, and me and him wa checking out his sound system in his 2003 navigator. He has 2 solo x 18s,4 kicker 2500's amps , 4 capacitors, 4 yellow top battries for the amps, and one yellow top under the hood, PLUS he has a tv screen in his steering wheel. a laptop computer in the front customize dash...one big screen hangin from the roof, and some small screens in his visors, and a deck that has the pop out screen, Now after i really notice when he has his music full blast there is no dimming, the capacitors read from 13-14volts and do not go below that, but guess Then i ask him what alternator does he have i ask if he upgraded it he said no its bone stock i said no way you dont have a H.O alternator but it really was just his stock one and i think its no more than 100-180amps, never been rebuilt he showed me the alt wasnt rebuild at all..........but he said he never thought about putting a h.o in there because he really did not know anything about them he just started getting into car audio OH AND HE SAID YOU JUST HAVE TO KNOW HOW TO WIRE IT RIGHT......so can you guys tell me how the hell he has barely to no voltage drop

I would guess a nice stock alt, plus the additional batteries.

Yep. A very nice stock alt and the added Battries/caps. I also doubt he is running full power all the time. If he were to play a test tone for a minute I'm sure it would drop a bit...

5 batteres and caps....one high output alt would feed four amps. He would need to draw a ton of current to **** 4 batteries down...

ya its most likely cuz of the 5 total yellow tops...there is no way someone could **** enough current with 5 yellow tops to dim the lights...

I beg to differ. SPL Competitors sure make mince meat of deep cycle batts.

That's irrelevant.. this is not an SPL competitor. A daily user like the navy driver will not be able to drain the optimas that quick.

sheeeit...5 yellow tops total.....would definitly take a assload of current to drain that....im sure his alt. is going to wear down quicker than ussual though.....but it's still possible to have steady voltage like that with a stock alt...i mean i have a 90 amp alt. with 2 red tops running about 2000w rms and i ussually stay right at 12.8v
