why can't you wire subs 1ohm

Well, becuz Ohm's Law sez so. A dual 4 ohm subwoofer's coils can be wired in either series or parallel which results in either a 2 or 8 ohm load. It's just impossible to get 1 ohm total with 4 2's or 8's. Best you can get is either 2 ohms or .5 ohms. Of course you could always get dual 2 ohm VC subs and then that 1 ohm load is easy with four!!

yeah I know you can wire 2 dual 4 to 1ohm but if you cancel the second VC on the 4 dual 4's you are working with 4 svc right? I don't understand how it gets to .05 if you have 4 VC in the first set up and you cancel the 2nd VC in the second set you still have 4 vc to deal with??????
