Me? I am against the bandwagon of undereducated recomendations. Same goes for any of the past and future ones.

2 one old 12 and one new one. But like I said. I have nothing against the speakers. I am however against all the unbacked/uneducated recomendations on them.

My sig is poking fun at the bandwagon/forum boner that actually got its own thread dedicated and stickeyed. It has noting to do with the quality of the speaker itself. I have used them, they are great mid priced subs IMO. If it offends anyone please PM me. I am always willing to remove it, as I have done in the past for others.

hardest thing to do is argue with results. a 150 in a totally streetable car is a pretty good score in reguards to spl. the 160's and 170 + scores arent very streetable (if at all lol) and even if the 160 was streetable it would nt be a good daily (way to much up keep). with reguards to the kicker guys, alpine, re, memphis and so on that reach good numbers in street they didnt just throw their subs into a prefab box or didnt do any testing. each type of woofer that does well is taking advantage what its design allows. now people will argue back and forth about #'s and sq (which is subjective and not in some degree). you wont see me ragging on mark for his type r scores (if you look at what it is its a **** good score) or anyone elses. if you can beat it so be it but instead of treading on someone why not take alook at it as some type of accomplishment rather than "that guy sucks" or "his woofers ****". protesting other peoples thoughts/systems that work is pretty dumb especially if they are doing/done better than you did.

I understand. My goal is just to poke fun. I have stayed out of the type R thread for a reason. Too much for me. I do have experience with the speakers, they do put up numbers as Mark and Tommy Have proven. My "comments" started on a misunderstanding. I thought that Mark was talking about the old strokers, my bad on that one. I dropped that as fast as possible. The questions just kept coming in, from people that I respect mind you, so I felt that it would be ok for me to voice my opinion. Which everyone can read, its not the woofers, its the uneducated posts. Now with all this said, I still am going to sport the sig and continue to poke fun of the type R movement. After all its everywhere. From the Honda's to the alpines. Just the words are god to some LOL!!!

OK, Im kidding. But still Type R for teh win!!!
