Which way to should I point my subs?

I got an 88 corrolla i just ordered 2 Clif Designs 300Watts Rms subs and i was wondering should i have them pointed toward the trunk or have them pointed upward?

i've seen alot of contest winners with they're subs pointing up thats why i was asking...but most people do have it pointing to the end of they're trunk

mine is inverted downfiring into the trunk...i havnt really noticed a difference from my other set ups...

try pointing them toward the truck lid, toward the cabin, and up...then you can determine what sounds best to you.

they are pretty much right when i was pushing the cirus i had to try aiming my subs upwards, downards, towards the lid etc, etc. I finally aimed them towards the trunk lid.

but now im pushing the expo my subs fire downward. trust in your ears, they will make the right decision.

in a trunk id have them facing the tail lights, or firing down into the empty spare tire well
