lookin for a new sub for my boat. last year i had a 200 watt old rockford in and it sound alright.. this year im lookin to get louder and cleaner..

im runnin a RF P3002 cuz my alt cant handle much more. im lookin to spend 200 at the very very most on a new sub. more around the range of 100 - 150.

so the 4 subs i listed at the top are some i have been looking at. you can give your input on some of them or list some of your own that you think could be better for the price..

its goin in a 1.0 cube sealed box.. i can also redesign the box if needed

If budget and power are limited, why not the MAW? I have been hearing many good things about them lately.

I'd look for a poly cone and rubber surround, probably better at holding up to the elements.

the maws have rubber surrounds, fyi. I have had mine for a couple months, and just recently on around 600-700rms(maw 15), and it seems to be very solid. never smelt coil yet, and i've pushed everything i have at it a couple times. the out put is pretty good, i've got it in a 2.45 sealed box(net) and it gets good and loud. I am going to meter it at the next gta db drags, so i'll know what i hit.

you cant go wrong with a maw imo. I never expected to get so much for so little.
