2 12" fi q's or 2 12" re xxx

well imdebating on getting 2 xxx or 2 f i q's.

for the price of one xxx i can get 2 fi q's. not familiar with either but have heard about both. which would you think will perform better and why?

well just by looking at price I can tell you that the xxx will perform better.

Also, I have heard the xxx and can tell you that it is an absolute monster. Highly recommend it.

q. have heard both the 06 xxx and the q (12") in recommended sealed box's, ran off the same power, in the same car. q won imo. now give the xxx more power and i'd take that.

yea know, Qs and XXX are in very different price ranges well the 06XXX but iam telling you might wanna look into the RE MX...we did a little testing with it and dang that thing is a beast with very good SQL

well basically i want something that pounds and can be heard from a distance but with some sq also. the subs i ahve now pounds hard as hell but sometimes sound like crapdepends what i listen to. how would you compare the w7 to these subs?

the MX kills the dub7 and the Q well it getts much louder then the W7 at less then Half the price

The MX and Q are two completely different beasts. But, i will say that the MX is a VERY good driver. I'd actually recommend that over both. And as far as a W7 comparison. I don't personally like the sound of dub7's they sound wooshy 2 me but i can say that they will definitely be louder and may sound better depending on personal tastes.

I have 1 RE XXX 15. Its insanely loud, but has incredible SQ. very impressive. Saying that, I would think the 12" would have better SQ, since its smaller, but I'm not sure. I'm only pushing 1600 rms watts into the 15, and its LOUD. I never heard the FI Q, but The XXX is an amazing sub. amazing output, and very clean, hard hitting, and crystal clear!!

Are you talking about the new XXX or the older version? I have an '05 XXX and I absolutely love it. If you're thinking of getting the new XXX, I would say go with the Q's...just b/c the RE's are outrageous. On the other hand, if you could find a pair of used pre-'06 XXX's, I would go with those. I'm actually thinking about changing my substage, so I may be able to help you out with one the XXX's.

Edit: The MX's are supposed to be comparable to the older XXX's.
