PG Titanium Elite blown?

Well when I was bumping with my PG titanium elite it sounded like it was blown so I went ahead and ordered a new cone. I just got the cone out and it doesn't look blown at all to me. What are you guys opinions on this?

It does appear to be burned around the coil. What kind of amp did you run to it, and how did you go about setting the gains? That sub can take loads of power, something was done wrong..

 
didn't use a dmm what voltage should I be looking for on a dmm for that amp 1200 @ 2? Smells different from the new cone?
you should be looking for about 49 volts. Once reconed set the amp to read 49 volts, and dont forget about setting your subsonic filter if you are running it ported.
