Which Sub?

ive narrowed it down to 3 subs that i would like to get

type-r

xxx

SX

powered by a nine.1 in a nice box. looking for a bit of SPL..around 145db if thats even possible with the setup.

which one would be my best bet

I would go with the xxx

i would say the xxx you have a decent amount of power probably use a little more but in a nice vented enclosure with the power you have with a little elect. upgrade you just might hit your goal and good luck

also i noticed.? what size woofer are you gonna use. and are you wanting straight spl or sql cause there are lots of choices with what you have listed all install dependant

my vote goes for the R. it shall get loud off that power and i believe in the rite install, u will accomplish a lil more than a 45

what box? but i would probly go with the R also with that power, xxx will def sound better but i think the R would get louder with that kinda power

If you want PURE SPL id say Sx then the type R then the xxx

Alpine type r will NOT hit 145 dude, thats bullshit. They hit but id never put them up in the 145's. But with the power u have id say they are the best choice for efficiency. But if your looking for a woofer to put up 145 constantly then u better keep looking.

i had a XXX and SX and i would take the XXX easily although sx was a 12 and XXX was a 15 still XXX was clearly better to me

i would think that the xxx would have the lead hands down. those things can wang and sound good doing it.

can i ask you why you are choosing these subs?

if you HAD the money to buy a xxx, why even consider the other two?

the xxx will get almost just as loud as the sx and sound better...

why i'm asking you this is the price range is rediculous...you're comparing a hundred something sub to a near three hundred something sub to a three hundred plus sub...

i think its kinda like saying, would you take a MX-5 or a S2000 or a Z06
