which sub?

I've narrowed it down between these 2. The ID Max 12 D4 V3 or the Crystal CMPX 212. Which one gives more SQ, which one hits harder. I'm using a MMATS 3000.05 amp. I currently have four Kicker 12L7's, I haven't installed them yet (because I keep hearing of people blowing them) but I wanted to know how they sound compared to the ID Max's and the Crystal CMPX 212's. The vehicle is a 71 Impala.

I went with the L7's because I wanted something that was loud and hit hard but I've never heard the L7's with as much power as I'm going with from the MMATS 3000.05. I'm looking for loud & hard hitting bass! Which sub will give me the what I'm looking for in a sealed enclosure. ps. I'm going with 4 subs.

L7's will own the ID's in spl (what you are looking for), ID's will own the Kickers in SQ

I'd go with the ID's...

The fact is, unless you plan on competing, 4 12" IDMAX's will get PLENTY loud enough AND sound better than the L7's.

But since you already have the L7's, keep 'em. An excellent choice, they just don't sound as good as ID.

yea since you already have the L7's just keep em. But if you had not already bought those L7's then i'd choose the ID MAX. Those things can get loud. A friend a mine had ond 12" ID Max and hit like 140 or something like that. Not bad. But like i said earlier since you have the L7's just keep em.
