Which sub would be better?

Hello,

I am currently looking for a new vehicle, mainly SUV or something like a jeep grand cherrokee, and it will have more room for subwoofers. So what I planned on doing was taking my 2 10" Polk DXi 104s

and putting them in a box with a 15". I was looking at two different subs and wanted to know which would be better value/sql>spl.

Were you going to put a 15 an the 10's in the car at the same time?

Yes.. Ill use my two tens and its amp, then buy a 15 and an amp in put them in a box all together(amps not inside the box of course). If its better to seal the box for each independent speaker I dont mind doing that also

Do yourself a favor and don't mix/match subs, it causes more problems than it is worth

this ^^^ just get a good 15 throw some power at it in a ported box and you'll be good

What problems would it propose if I put a 15 in a ported box with its own amp and then put my two 10's in a sealed box with their own amp?
