which sub is right for me

Hi all i upgraded the speakers in my 2012 toyota corolla to some jl components up front and a pair of 6x9's in the rear. I want a subwoofer or two to round out my system. I'm not sure which way to go. All of my friends tell me i should stick with JL audio and get a 12w7. I'm not really sure if I want to go that route. I'm looking to spend up to about $2000 if need be for a great sql sub and a great amp. What do you guys think?

If I had your funds for sub and amp, I would look at:

Subs:

Hertz Audio Mille ML3000 or Focal 33WX2 ( Now I am shooting pure SQ here )

Amp:

Zapco Z1KD or Zapco Z2KD
