Which Sub HELP!

Hey guys couple i have a couple of questions for you. Right now i have 2 10's hooked up to a alpine mrd500/1 amp the subs are one of them is a alpine type s and the other sub is a peerless. I dont want to take up that much rooml I want to have atleast as good of bass that i get from those shitty 10's but only want to use 1 12. What in your opion with that amp is my best bet for a sub and i am not concerned about the money. thanx guys

buddy in your case may i suggest that quickly get rid of those two 10's. go out and buy a soundstream T4 - 12 for 175 dollars

there is no best sub around, let's get that said. your amp is fine - alpine amps are solid and slightly underrated.

The Alpine MRD500 is stable to 2 ohms, so if you get a single 12", you're looking for one that's either 2 ohm SVC or 4 ohm DVC. 1 ohm DVC would also work, but those are pretty rare.

I garantee you soundstream subs are amazing. there new line is great. Not many people are familiar with there new line of subs, so be the first to shock everyone with the sub you got in you truck. Since amp is 500rms go either with the soundstream T4 10inch sub(800rms) or 12inch(900rms). Dont worry your amp is actually quite good.
