An RE SE would be a great choice...they are 600 rms but would work very well off that amp. Are u looking to get as loud as possible or just have decent, nice sounding bass?no budget istn but i would like to keep that amp since i have it
u can have someone design u box plans......jmac does a great job and only charges 8 dollars. u give him the dimensions of ur trunk and what not and he will design it, then u can just put it together. that is the best way to go about doing this. And yes 2 cubes ported means 2 cubic ft of internal volume after all displacnments. displacements would be the port...wood thickness, woofer, any bracing. 2 cubes ported will be a good bit larger than 2 cubes sealed.lol sorry about the typing. I appreciate all the help guys and trust what your saying. What is the dimensions of a 2 cube box? Is that 2 cubic feet. Where would i go and have a box made to a specific hz. I hope that box will be smaller than the one i use for my 2 10's. I believe its a cubic feet per speaker.
go sealed then...u could have a pretty small box. 12" SE would only need like 1 cube. What i was doing is trying to save space is there anyway possible to keep the sound of what you guys are telling me to get in a small package?
well u just want the right internal volume...which is 1 cube. so no not any box will work...and u dont want pre-fab, as many of the crappy ones are made out of particle board. Make ur own box out of 3/4" MDF. http://www.bcae1.com/ go there and go to #110 (on the list on the right). it has a enclosure calculator.does any box work or do i need it tuned to a certain hz with a sealed box
