I currently have a Pioneer DEH-X6500BT replacing my old OEM radio inside my 2004 Acura MDX and came into possession of a SPL Gorilla 2-channel 1250 max watt Amp that has an RMS rating of 220 watts at 4 ohms x 2 channel, 280 watts at 2 ohms x 2 channel, and 560 watts x 1 channel when bridged (2-ohm minimum impendence unbridged and 4-ohm minimum impendence bridged). The amp requires 4-gauge wiring (as stated on the manufacturer website) so I purchased a kit amp kit on amazon that comes with an in-line fuse holder, the wiring that was originally wired in but never connected to the battery was 8-guage. My question is what subwoofers, or subwoofer should I buy to match the RMS output of the amp? I’d also like to add that I do want to try bridging the amp to get the most out of it since its capable without blowing my OEM speakers since I want to swap them out to match the sub and amp.
The amp in question
I set the everything like the crossover and Bass EQ at half to be extra safe for when its connected fully
This is the wiring kit I bought; I still have pictures of the original if needed
