Which 12" Sub Plays the deepest

I see then then the Alpine type-R would be perfect being it has one of the largest excursions for woofers of that level. Hmmmm

That is probably peak to peak excursion, not one way linear. Its probably on par with the rest of them excursion wise.

Thats not the sub we were talking about... we are talking about the Phoenix Gold Xenon not that crap.

im all kicker im running 3 kicker cvx's and 12" kicker comp. and they do put out some real good deep bass. i would go with the cvx's. im suprised that the d3's are not putting out real good deep bass. try some d9"s those should also do the trick.

Type-R's xmax is only about 19mm one way. Their mechanical limit is about 32mm or so one way. While excursion is really helpful in getting low, it's not the only thing to look at.

I forgot about the Dayton Titanic MKIII. Those are fantastic subs for the price. The single 4 ohm voice coil would be perfect for you as well. I'm also pretty sure that 1.5 cubic feet will put you at an alignment very close to the max flat alignment for the sub. This means that the response will be very smooth and have a strong low end presence. They're great sounding drivers and I would strongly recommend them:
