What sub would best match my amp

I have a AQ1200D that pushes 510 x 1 @ 4 ohms, 870 x 1 @ 2 ohms, 1200 x 1 @ 1 ohms

I am open to opinions as well but so far this is what I have found

Audioque HDC3 12 1000 wrms 2000 peak

Soundstream T5-12 900 wrms

Soundstream splx12 1000 wrms

Soundstream T6-12 900 wrms

RE audio SXX-12 1000 wrms 2000 peak

Alphasonik PSW812 900 wrms

T3 audio T1000 1000 wrms 2000 peak

Pioneer champ pro series 1000 wrms 3500 peak

Audiobahn Alum12n 1000 wrms 2000 peak

Vibe Space 12 1000 wrms 3000 peak

any input on this would be taken deeply and the car this system is going into is a 2010 dodge avenger rt so that will also give you a little input on the space that i am working with. What i want is some bump out a single 12, i have a 3 year old and need to keep a little space in the trunk.

Goals for your system? Personally, as a general recommendation, I'd say Exodus Audio Shiva-X2.

DD is made in the USA and they are built extremely well. They are basically the top dog of the subs out there. But their are certain subs that will do best at certain things.

Only downside is their prices, but the money spent is well worth it

And I agree, they are not top dog but are up there with the better products.

I got to agree. I'm getting 2 DD 2512 within the next month, they're awesome! Too many positives to list.

AQ isn't bad either, it's probably going to be the closest thing to a 2512 that you have listed.

2512 and the HDC is not a fair comparison. The 2512 is about half what HDC is motor/rms wise. If you want to really beat the crap out of a sub with that power I suggest the AQ HDC or step up a DD 3512

thank god someone isn't off DD's nuts either. I was confused at comparing the DD2500 series to the HDC3s.

For the market, ya maybe.

I own both as well as a 3512 and hdc312. (just sold a few days ago)

IMO and in my applications the 2500 is much better vs the sdc.

Now the hdc will take far more power vs the 2500 but with the power he has listed, IMO the 2500 is a better match.

Now if budget is of a concern, the AQ's are a great choice as they do preform very good especially for the $$$ spent.

The DD's, imo, are just on another level and just that much better. Please do not get me wrong, the AQ's are a very good sub

and I do like the few that I have or have had.
