i only want to connect a single 12" sub woofer to it. i have connected several subs to it including an ALPINE type R sub, 1800watts max 600watts rms 2oh DVC, and i believe it burned the voice coil. i had it set up with 4ohm wiring.

I'm open to all subwoofer suggestions.

the amp wired at 4ohms puts out 650watts

at 2 ohms = 1300 watts

1 ohm = 2000 watts

if i had that 2ohm DVC alpine with 600watts rms hooked up to the amp at 4ohms, would that have overpowered it?

how about this one? 8 gauge Knu Fleks direct leads, Custom recone from PSI, TC-9 motor.
