brutus hifonix amp 12 sub

i only want to connect a single 12" sub woofer to it. i have connected several subs to it including an ALPINE type R sub, 1800watts max 600watts rms 2oh DVC, and i believe it burned the voice coil. i had it set up with 4ohm wiring. I'm open to all subwoofer suggestions. the amp wired at 4ohms...
