well out of curiosity what size sub are you aiming for. i noticed you did not post what size. by the size of the box im guessing a 12. the mag and rl-p are both great woofers. also think about a pioneer 3000 spl with 1000 rms in 1.7 cubes after port and woofer displacement tuned to 32 hz. gets very loud and sounds pretty amazing. good luck

My 12L7 sounds good with 800rms on a 1.7cuft@35hz............if you listen to Rap Id go 10L7 with 2cuft ported to 35.......
