its a audiopipe TXX-?? its from 03-04. they had a 90oz magnet,2.5"vc and were dvc 4ohm. i sold a few of those back in the day. will handle up to 600rms and be suprised they get loud...

so apparently they get loud? Is audiopipe a very good company as far as subs go? I've only used their fuse holder lol

Audiopipe is fine if you get their higher end subs, the cheaper ones are meh.

I can't speak for this year model, but I had 4 12's, forget model, but were chrome and was doing 149 with them in a ported box on two modded 1501d's built for MTX 9500's in a cutty as my MTX's were on back order for awhile, so picked these up dirt cheap and was surprised to say the least. Sounded good to boot........again in a box not ment for them, lol!

This was a good few years ago when audiopipe was new though.

When AP first came out they had some killer stuff.But over the past few the have gone more in the other direction.Don't get me wrong their higher end stuff is good but most people don't buy it.Take this sub for example its decent for someone who doesn't know/care much about the quailty they just want to bang.Then you have guys that have been in it for a while and avoid it like the plauge and laugh at the people who do run them

I guess I'm the first one to say this, but you would trust someone on craigslist enough to think the picture of the front of the sub he took is the same sub as the basket picture? Demand a video! None of that Criss Angel shit either!

AP amps are still a solid budget choice, but your right otherwse when you say they have gone in the wrong direction. i dont even think their fuses blow at their rated power lol

got to be crazy i have carried audiopipe sence 03 and the products have gotten alot better. there buildhouse has changed or corse to the better several yrs ago. they had too many different baskets back then, the soft parts are higher quality on there subs now too. the only thing that will give out on the pix sub is the spider, the new subs use nomex spider alot higher quality.

the front pix matches the motor pix. the cone is a woven over paper.

the chrome sub talked about above is the TXX-DC was there sq sub.

the fuses will blow when they are ment to 200% +. it takes double rated for more than 3 sec to blow a fuse. the more over 200% the quicker it will blow just like any fuse.

try a BC,AP, APX or spl sub and you be really impressed. use the rms rating as a MIN. they get loud with little power but handle so much more.

i am willing to bet there isnt any subs in there price range that are louder than the higher end audiopipe...
