What should I get?

There are so many subs to choose from. I'm so confused now.
I wish I knew of a place to go where I could listen to different subs like these.
Just make sure you get a sub that will allow you to be able to get a good enclosure. Even the best sub in a poor enclosure will not perform well.

haha op, what exactly are you looking for out of your subs again? ( too lazy to read ). and im guessing this is going to be your first system? and before you do anything i highly suggest that you work on your electrical.

all of this stuff might be already said lol

The truth is, I don't know what I'm looking for. Two years ago, I had a pretty awful Volfenhag 10"/Power Acoustik amp setup in a different car. I didn't actually mind it, but I haven't really listened to other subs. I've got a friend with a Kicker L7 15", and it's loud, but it just doesn't sound good. He's got it in an extremely small ported box, and he thinks gain is volume. I've tried to show him that even EQing distorts music several times, but he claims he can't tell there's a difference. I'm guessing he's just trying to deny the truth. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I get excited about audio purchases, and usually browse forums, YouTube, and Google to find reviews on everything. I guess this is somewhat of a downfall, due to my tendency to over think most of everything. I guess I just want a sub(possibly two) to be as musical as possible while still being able to push a bit of air. I love feeling bass all over, but I don't want it to be overwhelming. I don't feel the need to post flex videos, or getting a super high dB.

Maybe this post made everything a bit more clear? :/

Looks like you want more SQ than being heard. If so, i suggest just getting a nice 10 or 12 that can get loud but also has the ability to give A good amount of SQ... I see TC sounds in your future

Well, I definitely want a 12. Looking at the TC Sounds website, I see several models to choose from. When peering at their details, I found that all their parameters were 0. :/

Epic, Axis, or LMS-R?

i have used a lot of diff subs over the years. i like fi but to b honest i realy like how dc subs call for a smaller box.i think u can fit a lvl 4 15 ported tune low. u might wana look in to one fi q there great low end subs. i have had a few ssd's there good subs but i would step up and go with a bl over the ssd. u should try to come to a price u wana spend and go with that. i have heard people pay 200 for lvl 3 , i have heard 150 etc etc. thats why u should contact rusty at dc for pricing. audioque subs are great but i only had one sdc 2.5 15 tune to 34. it was ok
