What should I get if money is not an option? (Looking into MTX 12" Thunder 9500)

Okay. You want SQ? I'll reccomend an RL-s 15".

I had an RL-p and the SQ was amazing, but for about $600 you can get an RL-s.

Pair it with a JL 1000/1 and that'd be haus.

i'd say something nice and simple like two rl-p 12s and an Autotek MX-1500.1, should cost you somewhere around a thousand, but you are gonna need to upgrade your electrical system in that car, i had a 2000 accord and the lights dimmed with 800 watts of power

pair those up with a orion 2500d althought ive heard they do very well underpowered with even 500watts to them.

I would not get an RL-s...From alot of the reviews kinda seems impractical for a car with it needing so much room and power, its more along the lines of an Uber HT sub. But do stay with Soundsplinter and get Rl-p 15's Ive got 2 12's and the SQ is amazing and those things get so loud and Low its unimagineable

I'm kind of on the same page.. I have got a system but I don't know what the hell I was buying. I get more bass than sound quality but it's still impressive to people who like the shakiness within the car.

so you guys are helping him with his system... so far

headunit = Alpine CDA-9857

subwoofer = Soundsplitter RL-s 15"

subwoofer amp = JL 1000/1

what about the rest of the speakers?

Subwoofer = JBL power 12" or JL audio 12 W6 v2

Sub amp = JBL BP1100

I like JL amps, don't get me wrong, but the JBL/Crown amps are amazing IMO and if you want to purchase online are a bit cheaper than the JL. I like their subs too, performance wise, not a big fan of the way they look though
