What should I get if money is not an option? (Looking into MTX 12" Thunder 9500)

I'm very new to car audio, but I've been researching a lot. I've been working my *** off and have come up with a good amount of money to put into my system, so even though money is not an option, I definitely wanna get something worth my buck.

Sound quality is most important to me. I drive a '99 Accord.

If someone could hook me up with a nice set up (subs/amp) it'd be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks Guys!

BTW I was looking into an MTX 12" Thunder 9500, but I'm not sure what to chose to amplify it. Anyone recommend this? Or could I do better?

Money's not a concern?

OK...

Pioneer P9 DEX/DEQ combo

Butler Audio four channel tube drivers, bi-amped.

ID horn bodies

Adire Extemis's for midbass

IA 20.1

2 12" Stereo Integrity Magnums

Several hundred square feet of Damplifier Pro and Ensolite

Have fun //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

:wetsPants:

I was going to suggest somthing very similar, but probably go with W7's for the substage, and maybe alpine F1 status HU and processors

I forgot about the F1 Status. Good point.

And maybe a Milbert EL84-based amp, I saw one on Audiogon for a mere $2800 a couple of weeks ago //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Well that sounds like a great setup, too bad I have no clue what any of that means lol...

And after seeing how much you can really put into this, I'm gonna go ahead and say money is not necessarily no concern, lol.

I'd say I'm willing to throw about $1,300 into this.

EDIT: $1,300 into everything but speakers and HU. That'll come next.

Sometimes I go to alpine's and Pioneer's website to drool over the P9 combo and the F1 status stuff. Also a good HU that ive been trying to get my hands on is the 2002 Alpine 7998 the one with the large face and is a dead head.

YUMMY

Ah, so we have a budget now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Usually the "money is no object" line lasts for maybe a page before people like us really tear into it, so don't feel singled out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

$1.3k is a very reasonable budget, and could get you some nice stuff. What kind of music do you listen to mostly?

Haha, figured that would happen.

I listen to EVERYTHING. A lot of rock, some slower stuff, a lot of hip hop, I'm really not into any specific genre.

So, 1300 for sub, amp, box, wiring, sound deadening?
Then your next step will be a headunit, component speakers, and a component amplifier?
Yup, already know what HU I want (Alpine CDA-9857), but besides that, I'm completely lost. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
