I need two 15" subs for pure spl, what recommendations do you guys have?

I want to run 1000 watts to each sub, and I wanted to know what are some good 15's out there, that kick out lots of spl?

I was looking at Alpine Type-R's, but figured it was more of a sq sub.

I'm also looking at Kicker Solo Baric L7's due to their higher cone volume for increased spl...

What can I get that will hit hard, and not hit my wallet just as hard?

L7 15's...you can get em on ebay for around 200 a piece plus shipping

Lis are great SQL subs and they should keep up will all that wattage. I would PM Moe Lester if you want more detailed info on them because he had a pair and did a lot of work with them.

Also, where are the LI's being sold? Last time I heard they were just back ordered or something.

what kind of space do you have to work with? That's really gonna be your deciding factor, if you dont have the room for 2 15" SPL woofers you are going to lose SPL.
