What should I expect to pay?

What should I expect to pay for 12" DD subs? ex,512b,1012,1512,2512?

Local dealer quoted me $325 for a 2512.

I do not know if that is a good price or a rip.

Last time I contacted DD they gave me MSRP which doesnt count.

Run fast.... There are many DD dealers on this site that will get you one for less then that.. I can't find one honest local dealer in my area for anything audio. But there are alot of honest dealers on this site. Kinda weird.

Just as an example I paid $180 shipped for a freshly reconed DD2510.

CJL go post in the WTB section. Just title it WTB - DD2512 and you will get some offers by tomorrow I assure you.

$325 for a 2512 that's just plain robbery. Hell its on the same lvl as a SA-12 but you can get the SA brand new for under $200 all day.. I guess DD charges that extra $125 for there DB adding Dust Cap LOL..

DD has been around for a long time and they know what they are doing. They make excellent products and are american made. There prices are a little pricey but you get what you pay for

No there prices are outrages.... DD's no joke thats for sure. But $320 for a 800watt sub hmmmm no thanks. Main reason I bought my 2510 was because it was priced as it should be. Both the 2510-2512 should both be under $225max and a 2515-2518 should cost under $300max. For $325 you could get one hell of a sub that would walk a 2512.

That sub would molest a 2512. It would even give a 9512 a run for its money. Its better then a 3512 but not as good as a 9512. For $230 shipped to your door for a fresh sub its a steal. Plus woofercooker offers a warranty on all his subs.
