I wouldnt want to live in China, I was there for a week. 5 out of 7 days the smog was so think you couldnt see 40 feet in front of you.

Products can be produced and shipped for 20% cheaper in China (on average). Partially because the Chinese take steps to keep the apparent value of the yuan well below what it actually should be worth. We could bring a lot of jobs back to the US if we cut pay, eliminated benefits, and reduced taxes. Our jobs left our shores because it made sence for companies to produce things for less. It was about numbers and not about a sence of loyalty or pride, pure capitalism. (And I am not saying that, that's a bad thing.)

What I have said is factual, and there are hard numbers for these statistics (Government Job Loss: President Obama’s Catch 22 - ABC News).

Yes we need to get money out of politics.

Yeah, because the better option is to pay money to an insurance company instead, and still have to pay doctors, and have to find a place that will accept your insurance. That's clearly the better way, because the dam gubbament ain't gettin any of yer money.

I have no issues with my insurance. For some reason it's all of the anti-government repubtards that are saying "I'm movin'! Obama is a socialist and I ain't payin' no more taxes, down with big government!" So instead, they want to go to a more controlled, socialist style government that has more control over their dollars...makes perfect sense.

Our president is not a socialist. That video was really misleading since Reagan had one of the worst ideas ever in "Trickle down" Economics as were the rich gets all the breaks and money and it "trickles down" to the working man. But without the "working man" those products and services those companies sell would be nowhere,lets see the ceo's put on reg clothes or the uniform to do those jobs. The whole idea is just silly that people use the word socialism, its helping the working man. The one who makes the things this country needs.

The rich should pay there share its only fair when you give crappy pay and no benefits to the people who make these companies their money. No one with wealth needs to worry about things like health insurance but the man who works 60 hours a week cant afford it and its tough **** eh?

Thanks DoesDad, I pride myself on following politics closely. Its THE ONLY voice we have in this country, but sadly the majority of citizens dont express that same interest. Politics in America is a fvcking joke BECAUSE of the People. Can anyone deny Obama is flashy? The guy danced around during campaign trail in 2008 (admittedly a good dancer, but COMPLETELY distracted people from the issues). Politics of 21st century =3 ring circus.

I HATE that people pick their candidates by his POW status during 'nam, his skin color, his flashy dance moves, their friends/families opinions. And as far as making your voice count all I have to say is in 1800 would our ancestors have took up a tent city in a park and smoked pot in protest, or would they have stormed the castle? While it should be evident with the "tax breaks for higher levels of healthcare" (Ignorant terms being less money paid out for rich healthcare packages) and "subsidized healthcare for poverty level citizens" (Ignorant terms being free healthcare for the poor) that the money MUST come from somewhere, people will still argue that this is a good plan. It's ok working class citizens, your pitching for the bill of the entire country. I know in 1st grade math you were taught 2+2=4. Well we have 3 classes (Rich, Working middle, and Poor.. No gray area's) Rich=tax breaks, poor=free; therefore 3-2=1... 1 class left to take the hit.

Flat tax is good and fair for everyone. Say it's 10%

Rich guy with $2,000,000 = $200,000 in taxes.

Poor guy with $20,000 = $2,000 in taxes.

See, the rich still pay more in taxes but everyone is equally paying their share. I don't see how people can't figure this out.
