What Obamacare has in store for you

I posed an interesting question geared towards that a few months ago. What if these politicians were actually held accountable, for the things they said on their campaign? I mean really held accountable. Like, being shot every time they didn't make an attempt to keep a campaign promise. Would they start making good on their outrageous promises? Or would they adjust their claims to something more reasonable? OR, would they be so frightened of the truth, that they would rather lie and suffer the punishment? Some people may think getting shot for a lie that drives a country into the ground is a bit harsh, so I've thought of an alternative punishment. Public spanking. Yep, what could be more humiliating? Every time they broke a promise, they'd go to the center of a state (a new state every time, so we all get a turn), and whoever wanted to, could show up for the next 12 hours and get one good spank in.

Yea, but you guys get fucked in the ass for shipping car audio. Not worth it.
bahaha lol

shippin isnt that bad. doesnt cost much more for shipping its the taxes and duties that get you.

Oh and don't count on keeping your doctor either, 67% of doctors don't like this law and threaten to quit!
^^THIS!! As a current healthcare professional with intentions of furthering my education in the medical field, I'd quit. When FORCING people to take sub-par insurance that will refuse to pay an M.D. his DESIRABLE rate, the Dr. will just become privatized (you will be paying out of pocket anyways for a decent dr. as well as the yearly tax if you dont keep the $h!tty insurance) . This bill basically regulates whats a medical professional is allowed to profit from his/ her services. I know if I finished 16 years of schooling and internships just to be told by the government that the Capitalistic principles that this country was founded upon (right to the pursuit of happiness) did not apply to me because of Obamacare... Being PI$$ED dont even begin to explain it.

and those taxes pay for a broken fibula in canada

hey if i gotta pay an extra couple bucks on an item i buy for free medical services then im fine with that, its better then getting stuck with a bill for 100's or 1000's of dollars for a trip to go to the emergency room

Face it, Canada is the New America.. I hate to admit it because I like to think Im about at patriotic as they come. Hell I would buy up some land in Canada and start building for after the collapse America is headed for.. But the housing market is Canada is still inflated. They work off of a different system this is slowly cracking at the foundation and if something isnt done soon they will see a market crash similar to the one we exerienced.. At which point I will pounce! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

I'm still pretty confused about this bill. I used to follow politics pretty closely up until several months ago and I knew very little about the law even then.

So, since I am a college student in my early 20's and both my parents will be retired soon means that I won't have health insurance. Does that mean I have to buy a health care policy? If so, that ***** because I never really have problems besides a cold/flu once in awhile. My school offers a health insurance plan but that is only at the school's medical center I think.

the people who say they are moving to Canada, have you even been to Canada and know what it's like over there to be saying dumb shit like that?
Really? Its ok to trash Canada because we are on the right track??

Obamacare- you can clearly see the issues there

NDAA- The most controversial provisions to receive wide attention are contained in Title X, Subtitle D, entitled "Counter-Terrorism." In particular, sub-sections 1021 and 1022, which deal with detention of persons the government suspects of involvement in terrorism, have generated controversy as to their legal meaning and their potential implications for abuse of Presidential authority. Although the White House[9] and Senate sponsors[10] maintain that the Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF) already grants presidential authority for indefinite detention, the Act states that Congress "affirms" this authority and makes specific provisions as to the exercise of that authority.[11][12] The detention provisions of the Act have received critical attention by, among others, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), the Bill of Rights Defense Committee, and some media sources which are concerned about the scope of the President's authority, including contentions that those whom they claim may be held indefinitely could include U.S. citizens arrested on American soil, including arrests by members of the Armed Forces.

Patriot Act- The act, as a response to the terrorist attacks of September 11th, dramatically reduced restrictions in law enforcement agencies' gathering of intelligence within the United States; expanded the Secretary of the Treasury’s authority to regulate financial transactions, particularly those involving foreign individuals and entities; and broadened the discretion of law enforcement and immigration authorities in detaining and deporting immigrants suspected of terrorism-related acts. The act also expanded the definition of terrorism to include domestic terrorism, thus enlarging the number of activities to which the USA PATRIOT Act’s expanded law enforcement powers can be applied.

On May 26, 2011, President Barack Obama signed a four-year extension of three key provisions in the USA PATRIOT Act:[2] roving wiretaps, searches of business records (the "library records provision"), and conducting surveillance of "lone wolves" — individuals suspected of terrorist-related activities not linked to terrorist groups.

SOAP, PIPA, Etc. etc... it never ends. But, hey, dont buy insurance.. just talk $h!t about the governments messed up laws on your legally tapped telephone and be throw into prison indefinitely with no trial

As long as you make less than $10,000/year as an indiviual or $25,000 as a family, the you will be cover under the poverty umbrella. Otherwise you are required to get insurance or pay a federal fine equal too $650 or 2.5% of your income, which ever is greater.
