to me it looks also like a small speaker, but someone posted pics and says it's a sub.

the holes for screws are just too big, so it should be a 6" max

Aparently someone is trying to pass off a picture of a tweeter zoomed in on as a subwoofer. It doesn't take that keen of an eye to see its small, and the pic is zoomed.
