Can anyone give me a good explanation of what a dvc is, why its practical, what the advantages are, and if they perform better. Do you need more power? Thank you
Is Dual Voice Coil.. it is a sub that has two sets of inputs and allows greater versatility for wiring.. Like using two DVC subs with a nominal impedance of 4 ohms per Voice Coil can be wired to create a 4 ohm mono load on an amp..or 1 ohm or 16 ohm..if you only want two subs and have one amp they are great.. There are other factor in deciding as well like how much money you want to spend on amps and or subs..You can get more or fewer it just depends on what you want out of your system..
A DVC is the short term used when says Dual Voice Coil....Some subs out have dual voice coils instead of just one...I'm not exactly sure what their better at but if zane sees this he will know...try to get his attention...He's the big man around here and knows just about everything...
