What I should upgrade next

I have 2 SA-12s on a 2800 AD DB drive amp with 0/1 gauge wiring. JVC Head unit. Also with a soundstream B20 bass processer. The box is custom made for SA-12s 1.75 cubic ft. I have about 500$ and trying to get louder. I do have a stock alternator but it does produce 15v. I had to get a new battery after I installed a capacitor. Please leave suggestions. Thanks

box seems a bit small to me, I think those subs like 2 - 2.25 each.

Your alternator should not be putting out 15 volts, are you sure that was measured correctly?

Is the big 3 done?

What voltage are you running with the system up?

My stock alternator puts out 15v on my capacitor and I think the stock wiring for the big 3 is 6 gauge. The voltage drops to about 13.9v when hitting hard. 08 Ford Focus.

There's your problem. Your big 3 should be 1/0, not 6 gauge.

Get rid of the capacitor after the big 3 wiring is fixed. Waste of $$ for those.

What vehicle and how much room you have?

My alternator is in the back left of my engine so it's not very accessible. Room where?

Oh really? So how did you manage to get 6 gauge in there then?

Room for more subs, if you have any.

It came stock with the wiring, and it's compact car but I did mange to get a 4 cubic foot box in there at one time

Again, what vehicle is it? Yeah big 3 is a must. That STOCK wiring, as what it's called, isn't gonna cut it.

Don't care if it's compact. There's a will, there's a way. Anything is possible.

I'd at least take the time to do your big 3 in 1/0 you don't want to skimp on the electrical, & if you managed a 4cf box then you should have enough room as stated there going to like a box that's bigger because recommended is 1.5-2.0cf per woofer.
Better design for those subs. That box you have now is prefab. Hit up @CSCStang for a design for those.

These newer cars/trucks....getting to be a pain intheass to work on.
I have a 1.75 box for them now that was designed for them, the black box was the old one. This is the only video I have of the new box tuned at 35. Also in my opinion this box is louder. https://vimeo.com/198790835
