talon, 22 city, 27 hiway.
Unbelievable. I bought a Dakota instead of a Ram partly for fuel mileage, partly due to a 3000 dollar price difference. It never ceases to irk me to hear that I do about the same as, and in some cases worse than, alot of Rams.

I'm averaging mid to high 14s most of the time, high 12s or 13s in the city, high 15 on the highway. I've seen as low as 12 during really cold winters. The best ever was high 18s on a long highway road trip with cruise set at 56 mph while treating the gas pedal like there was an egg under it. Second best was high 17s with the cruise at 65 coming back home.
Won't be trading it anytime soon despite gas prices because I like pickups and its paid for and well cared for. Conserving is nice but I think people who trade guzzlers for a financed newer car and take on another 3-5 years of higher payments to save 1-200 bucks per month on gas and then go on about how much money they're saving in the long run are financially dumb.
