I am up in the air about which damping material I should go with. I have the money for SS, but really would rather save and get the Tattoo I have been wanting to get and if I go SS, that would put a big dent in my pocket book. Not that I don't have it, but in the process of saving for a new house or building one in the next year or so. So a dollar saved for me can go a long way, lol!.......................maybe I shouldn't get the tattoo, lol!
So I am not 100% sure if I am not gonna go with them, but read good things on Rammat BXT and then checked on fatmat and hushmat. I hear nothing but bad things about ED, so they are out.
Are thre any other ones out there?
I will be doing the majority of my car, which is a 2006 Ford Focus ST. I had some dynamat in there that didn't seem to do the trick, but had someone else do it that said they knew how to do it and well, yeah! So ripped it all out and used goo gone to get the rest out. Was a PITA, but oh well. I will be doing this along with my dad as a father/son project being my back is in better shape as of late. Probably the weight loss helped some, lol! That was the reason why I didn't do it before.
I want enough to do whole trunk, front and back doors and rear deck and maybe some of the roof. I am not big on the floor, but if you guys recommend, I will do it. I don't want to go over 150 smacks, unless I have too, that is why SS might be out as they want 159 for 37sqft and I don't think that would be enough. I am terrible at judging by sqft, so what would be enough you think? Fatmat I believe has a kit over 60 for a decent price and a tool kit included. Rammat is there as well, but no tools, I mean I have a heat gun if needed and rollers I could go to hardware store, so that is not a problem. Let me know guys and thanks!
