What 15" sub for sealed 2.5 enclosure, 600watt rms?

the atlas is one of the most musical subs i'd ever heard. The SE might have a bit more output and 600 rms would be too much for the atlas. it only needs 300-500 (max) to perform.

where in cali are you? wanna hear mine? i have it in a 2.0 cube box rite now. sound nice. might be up for sale soon if my friend doenst buy it.
west covina. how long have you had it and why are you selling it? oh and how much :).

i know you want one 15 with 600 watts

but maybe you could try 2 12 atlas 300 each. that would sound very nice and have plenty of output.

or avalanche 15 its a little underpowered but iam sure you will still get plenty of it output

I really would like to use my current 15 inch 2.5cuft box because of money issues. isn't the avalanche around $300? I would like to keep it around $200.

you could probably find a pair of used atlas 12's for $200+shipping. They'd fit perfectly in your 2.5cube sealed box btw, atlas' have amazing SQ :p
Im pretty sure he has the cutout in the box already since its the same box he was using for his tempest. Plus he mentioned that he wants to keep using the same box.

I would really look into the Atlas because the sq on it is great, its efficient and still has some output to it. It is also pretty cheap and will work great with the 600 watts you have.

If you want more output you should get the SE but Im not sure if the sq will be as good as the atlas.

The SX 15" sounds ok in a sealed box. I had one in a 2.2ft^3 sealed on a bx1500d the other day. It does get decently loud sealed, but hurt a little on the lowend. If you want more SQ, I would go with the SE 15. My SE's sounded better in a seal box then the SX and the SE's are rated at 600w which will complement your amp. The SX would want more power and shine in ported enclosures. IMO
