Would a RE SE 12 be best in a vented or sealed box?

600 watts would be fed to it (phoenix gold xenon, 1-4 ohms600rms I believe) also the box would be roughly 2cubes. What would hit the best? Thanks a ton

Also one last question, how does this sub compare to a Eclipse 8812 in the same box? Since I can get that cheaper than the bnib re se 12.
