what 12" sub works well in a small ported enclosure

depends on the amount of power you plan to run. dc audio lvl 2 12 is rated at 600wrms, and can go in a box at 1.25cuft, the lvl's 3-900wrms and 4-1400wrms, call for 1.5cuft each. I have a lvl4 12 in 1.5 tuned at 32hrtz probably getting a little more that that 1400wrms, and I love it. Very musical, and can hit all the lows I like. All three of these mentioned, in the 10 inch version, can be put in 1cuft.

Dc will be one of your best options
