What 10" sub will satisfy my needs?

Make it plain and simple, it's going into a 94 RX-7 (small cabin) and it's going to be going into a custom made fiberglass sealed box. A single 10 is all I want. Something that has great SQ (I have eDi 6500's and Nine.2 for fronts) yet will hit with authority.

Most likely will go with a Nine.1 amp. I wanted to go all eD system, but I just don't think their 11Ov2 is going to give me enough SPL for satisfaction. I've had a 12W7 in a sealed/ported box with around 750W to it and I loved it. I am basically looking for something just like what the W7 puts out (I know it's one of the top subs on the market) I could go with a 10W7, but I hate trying to find an amp to power it (3ohms)

Any kind of sub/amp combination suggestions are welcomed!

Many subs would work for ya. Idmax, idq, w6v2, rli, tons of choices really. How big is the box, if it has been made yet?

Any mounting depth requirements or anything?

The box has not been made, but the rear is extremely small in the rx7. I could maybe get 1.5-2cubes sealed if that by using the whole trunk area.

A pair of 10's if you have 2 cubic feet. I don't know what power and at what impedance the nine.1 does its magic. Can't suggest subs for that until I knowz.

Perhaps a 10W7 is in the question, according to eD the Nine.2x is stable @3ohms and pushes around 700-750W

I'm so **** picky with subs, i'm still trying to find one i really love...

Here's the dilema, 10" Brahma with 600W or 10" W7 with 700-750W to it. Both in a sealed box in my RX7.

Or 10 IDMax with 600W to it.

All will probably be around same price.

Edit if ya didnt want a whole lot and wanted good sq, I'd get the new rl-i8s. Also because I heard many good things about em but have never got my hands on em.
