i have about 300-400 to get a sub or maybe 2 and iwant 1 or 2 12" or 1 15". but dont know what subs to get. i can only put a box about 4 cubic feet max in my trunk. so what subs should i get..i am a racer so i cant have alot of weight but on the other hand i like sounds and attention too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif so i prefer just 1 12" but hope that it will hit around 140+ db you guys think that is possible? give me a list of subs that you think will be good. and donnot worry about the amp, whatever subs i get i will feed it enough power. as of now i have 2 12" audiobahn alumq seriouse in a sealed box about 1.5 cubic powered by a california amp..ever heard of that amp? it says that it pushes about 450x2 @2 ohms but nto so sure

are you looking for spl,sq, or both? some single 12's to look into are RE xxx, brahma, stereo integrity magnum (used), soundsplinter rl-p just to name a few.

i have 2 running with 1500 watt amp from some XX brand **** company that i had laying around, they SQ on em is pretty durn good, i can crank em all the way up with that little bit of power and they dont pop or crack or nothing, great quality.. and the sound levels i'm getting are above comfortable, so it's pretty much all you can ask for, the price ain't too bad on the 3000's either at around 165 shipped each..

i'd say it's about a 9/10 with a 10 being a 13w7 or the xxx12

Id say get you a JBL W12GTi and stick it in about a 2.25 cubed vented enclosure and ud be set. You might need another amp though.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

That would be a function of the harness, not the HU, I think. Have you looked into a Maestro or iData interface? i would check with crutchfield...

thanks DB, that definitely helps swallowing a $300 price tag 😂 these would essentially be running midbass for me too
