i guess most of these guys have never been to a movie or don;t have surround sound in there house!

If your'e just listen to music i would better to turn you rears off, but if your'e hanging out with some friends watching a movie from your car PARKED, then by all means have your rears on.

You have the best of both world, maybe some of these guys are jealous.

did you do the big three yet?

are those passive xover under your seat for your rear speakers?

do you have pics of your speaker installs?

If you need any help setting up or useing your h701, the guys over at diyma would gladdly help you.

this forum i think is more for newer guys that need help starting out.

I will tell you most people on diyma use processors, so you may get a little negative fed back about running passives which is still all good, by some.

but it all comes down to useing what you have & making it sound the best you can.

diyma ugys are very helpful. good luck

remember caraudio.com is more for the SPL bass heads which i at times need my bass fix as well.

nice pics, If i where you i would place my rear speakers in my rear deck for rear channel imaging, so that when your'e watching movies you will have a better stage height.

I think you would change the angle on your tweeters.

it looks like your tweeters are aiming @ your winshield?

you might want to play with them more on axis or off axis at you.

have you tried to use just one set of tweeters up front?

i use to the upstage kit from cdt but i found i just like the tweeters in my pillars.

you have a lot processing at you finger tips to play, have you thought about going active?

i am sorry, but does a concert really have good SQ? I understand the whole imaging thing a little bit, but IMO when i went to see DMB the SQ was awful no matter which way you were standing.

When i listen to music anywhere except for my car, i listen to it all different sorts of ways. Right, left, up, down all four of them.

I think it can easily still sound good and IMO have nice SQ, just terrible imaging.

diyma isn't the place for you. half of the people ragging on you hear is from there. it's kind of more of a place for people for people who already knows their shit.

I'll be nice and give some suggestions, which you probably won't take, but i don't give a shit, i'm bored.

lose the upstage kit, get some real tweets.

run the fronts actively of a 300/4

you can keep the rears passive, but i'd suggest using the same speakers as you have in the front... so they can voice the same.

yes, and some people act like an *** when others don't want to spoon feed them.

and yes diyma is a great place to learn... from reading and not by posting stupid questions before searching.

I guess this place can be good for that too, if you know how to sort through all the BS and horrible suggestions.

I did not know that a rear stage would spark soo much attention. I guess people have nothing better to do. I was meerly commenting on my upgrade and how i thought it sounded and then everyone else went off the deep end. I have the sound I want and happy with it, i guess that just makes everyone else upset!
The CUX meant RUX is the H701 controller as seen in the picture below the D106

The amps, there are two more under the 2JL's

Alright james now we are getting somewhere, i do agree that some questions may seem stupid to you when you know your craft!!! I am going to take your advice and see what I can do to go active with the H701, however I have much reading and decifering to do prior to making any changes at this point.

Question(s):

So you are saying if I am going to use the CDT ES-07 upfront, use the same exact in the rear correct? Can i use tht 300/2 for the mids (front) and my JL A2150 for the tweets? (front stage)

Also what tweets do you recomend for this type setup and at what location?

I know you are going to flame me for this one,but what would the starting x-over points be on the H701 for the front stage, mids and tweets?

FYI, the wires have been cleaned up. That were the spare tire used to be.

The stuff for sale is the D106 just got the W505, and the M6's used to be in the front stage.
