Rainbow SLC Kicks 6.5 vs. Focal 165 K2P

I can get Focals for $200 more than Rainbows and I was wondering if Focals are worth it? Only sound system I had in my life was Focal Utopia 165W in my old car and I loved it but I never heard Rainbows or any other sound systems.

Do any of you have either? Maybe someone that has had or heard both? What do you think?

Where are you in Jacksonville? I'm in San Marco but work on Gate Parkway close to Town Center...

I installed myself in deadened doors. Daddyos doesnt really seem like a good place IMO. Im in Mandarin area near 295.

Yea I installed Utopia 165W myself in deadened door in my old Mazda 626 and I haven't really heard anything about daddyos but can i meet you up maybe on friday or this weekend to listen to your system? I prob can't do tomorrow because of the national championship game.

The k2p's would be better than the slc set - whether that is worth 200$ to you is something only you can judge, though. Once you get into that price range, i'd be looking to compare the germaniums to the k2p's rather than the SLC's...i'd buy a set of germaniums before a set of focal k2p's.

I'm buying them used off of forum members so I have no choice (if germaniums are more new).. on a side note... I could also maybe buy zapco ck 16.2 comps for aroudn 450.. what do you think?
