Hi names anthony new here on the forums i had quick question for anybody can answer basically i hooked my car stereo up myself and works great i have eq and i never had one in any of my systems until i got one wit the car i have now when i got it off somebody i think its goin bad but im not sure i dont know know much bout eq besides it works like i said system works great i have toogle switch hooked to remote wires and for the eq remote and this is problem right here i have when i turn switch off high power goes off as in amps shut down but when i crank headunit up the eq turns on and everything comes on but switch dont light up unless i turn it on then other wise it dont light up and i have the switch power hooked into one of 2 of cig ligggters causr the lighter itself didnt work so i took the power wires from it what cause my eq to turn on by it self when crankin the stereo without switch on. I have speakers not connected to amps in my car so lettin u know i dont want you to think oh well why u crankin stereo when switch not on lol. So if anybody can help me out i appreciate it thanks. I have 04 honda accord coupe thanks

1st think is re check all connections make sure u don't have wire touching metal or each other.. if not maybe find something else to connect it to or could be the switch..

My switch is a 3 prog switch 2 are postive and ground them powers are attached to the cig wires my console cig light is broke it dont work so i used the wire from that i have 2 one is broken and the 3rd prog is accezory and thats where the remote wires run to and how am i goin to run power wire and remote wire to back of radio thats 2 much power on one wire just sayin and thank u i figured it out tho i was playin wit system thats y i didnt reply back. My sub amp has auto turn on switch and it was in auto turn on im guessin wit it bein in that mode when u turn radio up it automatic gives the signal to amps to turn on at high volume so i fixed that noe im tryns figure out why my subs are making a thumping on top of thumping. Like music plays system sounds good but when u hear the subs go to the beat of music u hear a extra thumping noise that aint suppose to be there like theres a feedback coming from somewhere idk if a signal wire is on top of power and thats the reason idk. I was told ground but idk
