weight lifting

i can't even do half that. in high school i could bench 250, now i don't even do 100 cause i don't have anyone to spot me so i just be safe and use less weight till i build up my muscle
when i started out about 7 months ago I could only do 105 about 5 times

and i had never worked out a day in my life before that

now my max is 225ish, possibly a little more, its been a bit since ive checked it

it just takes work, if ur getting in the gym guys will have respect that ur trying to change urself

EDIT: you would be surprised how quickly you will gain, muscle memory is astounding, ive seen guys get huge SOOO FAST after being out of the game for years, all because they were big at one point.

so squats are basically where i take a barbell put it on my should and squat? does that create a lot of pressure on the knee? i severly injured my knee in high school and i wana try not to strain it, so that's why i do leg extensions
They have machines which make it quite a bit easier to do, I tend not to use the bar method very often. Yes it puts a ton of pressure on your knees, especially when u reach the lowest position (butt even with knees or lower). If ur fine with doing leg presses just do those, i wouldnt risk an injury.

so basically i'll start by doing leg presses or squats, then the back excercise, then abs, then the curls, then tricep extensions, then military press, then bench press? the ab machine thing they had had you hanging upside like a ****ing bat. idk how the hell i'll fit into it, but it'll be fun to try //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

That sounds alright, definitely start out with legs and do arms last, but I like doing bench before I do curls.

Remember to do around 2-3 sets of 2-3 different exercises for EACH body part, like for legs I like to do squats and leg presses, chest I do crunches situps and then crunches on the big rubber ball things, triceps I will do cables extensions and then skull crushers, shoulders ill do military press dumbbell press lat pulldown and front raises, back ill do t-bar row, barbell row, bent over barbell row, and side cable rows, for chest ill do cable flys bench press and dumbbell flys, for calves i do weighted raises, smith machine platform raises, and standing dumbbell raises, for traps i do shrugs

what i read is to do one exercise for each group and then after 4-6 weeks, switch to a different exercise for that group

also on bb.com the recommend i warm-up>stretch>weight lift>stretch>cool down>drink protein shake
have a single serving shake before with water, preferably with BCAAs (some protein shakes have these in them), and then post workout immediately drink a single serving protein shake with bcaas in water and an hour later drink another protein shake.

really it is recommended to continuously flood ur body with bcaas during your workout, but most people do not have a bcaa supplement like that so before and after works almost as good.
