what else in their price range is better? amp i have is a 1200.1

NOTHING, in the elemental k's price range is better! people always ask all the time....this exact questions has been asked, try using the search button...i'm not yelling or mad or ne thing just letting u know u can find out a lot of stuff by searching. But the straight out answer is, the K will be better that the type r in SQ and definetly be better in SPL. peace
