Want a new sub.

I bought two aluminum 15 eclipse subs back in 1999. I was running them off a fosgate 1000a2. 550x2@4ohms. It sounded great and hit hard. I listen to hard stuff with lots of drums and double bass. When I ordered my sub from my local shop I ordered 12's and they ordered the wrong subs so I got the 15's for the same price.

I now only have one of the subs and just put it into a different car. The dynamics of the car (Nissan Altima) make it sound like rap bass and I can not get it tuned correctly like I had in my 240sx. It sound like I am listening to BASS Mechanic with a rock cd.

I want a good 12 inch sub for TIGHT bass in a sealed box.My amp is 2 ohm stable. What do you recommend and why?

Maybe interested in the DD in my sig? Its dual 4ohm so would be perfect to run at 2ohms.
